The small animal department provides veterinary care for all pet animals. We aim to provide exceptional care for your animal’s entire lifetime, by giving good advice on how to look after your pet appropriately, practising modern preventative medicine and treating disease appropriately and effectively when the need arises.
We have a spacious, purpose-built small animal clinic, equipped with up-to-date diagnostic and treatment facilities. Hospitalisation is provided on site for any animal requiring treatment as an in-patient. Our team of vets work closely with our qualified and dedicated nurses to ensure your pet gets the best possible standard of care.
Vet, Corinne Watson, holds a certificate in Small Animal Medicine. Vet, Martin Rook, holds certificates in Anaesthesia and Emergency and Critical Care. Vets Abi Wolfe and Amanda Smith, hold a certificate in Diagnostic Imaging.
A number of the other small animal vets have areas of particular interest including soft tissue and laparoscopic surgery, and veterinary dentistry. Vet, Suzy Gillon, has achieved the General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery and the ESVPS Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery.
We are a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Practice Standards Scheme accredited Small Animal Practice.
We are proud to provide our own 24-hour dedicated in-house emergency service staffed by our vets and nurses. This means you will always see a familiar face, in our clinic, with full access to your pet’s medical history when you need us most.
