Farm Animals

Although the practice has diversified from its purely farm animal roots in the 1940s, providing emergency care and preventative medicine for farm animals remains at the heart of the practice. We cover all aspects of farming from dairy farms milking 500 Holsteins, 300 cow suckler herds and 3,500 head sheep flocks to small holdings with sheep, goats and alpacas or llamas.

We actively maintain and update our knowledge to keep abreast of the latest developments, and encourage further post-graduate qualifications for our vets. Within the practice there are RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) Certificate holders the in subjects of Cattle Health and Production, Bovine Reproduction and Sheep health and welfare.
