Frame, Swift and Partners was first established in 1949. Since then the practice has grown enormously and moved from premises in town to its current location, the purpose-built veterinary centre where the twelve vets and ten support staff are based.

Frame, Swift and Partners is unusual amongst veterinary practices nowadays in that it provides state of the art facilities for the care of farm, equine and small animal patients alike.

As a practice we feel strongly that a modern facility where we can offer an excellent all round first opinion service, combined with the development of in-house specialist skills is the way towards providing the sort of veterinary service this area deserves. The practice vets, as well as being dedicated to general practice, are recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as having built up additional skills in a wide range of disciplines. At present we have twelve veterinary surgeons, and between them they hold certificate qualifications in Equine Practice, Veterinary Anaesthesia, Bovine Reproduction, Cattle Health and Production, Small Animal Medicine and Sheep Health and Production. A number of the younger members of the veterinary team are currently working towards further certificate qualifications.

 The practice vets, nurses and office staff are committed to promoting the health and welfare of all our patients, increasing understanding of animal diseases and helping to maximise the efficiency and therefore profit of our farm and commercial clients by practising good preventative and clinical medicine.
